Cisco N9K-C92160YC-X-C is a cost-effective switch product of Cisco Nexus 9000 series . This series of products realizes the scalability of current and future enterprise network infrastructure and the flexibility brought by SDN, thus becoming the basis of a new IT network architecture. This series of switches includes modular and non-modular port switches, and is designed to meet the challenges of enterprise network building through flexible, agile, and low-cost application-centric infrastructure.
 
Structurally, the Cisco N9K-C92160YC-X-C based on the Cisco Nexus 9300 platform is composed of non-modular port switches for top-of-rack (ToR) and inter-row (MoR) deployments in the data center to support enterprises Functions such as applications, operator hosting, and cloud computing environments. They can support Layer 2 and Layer 3 non-blocking 10 Gigabit and 40 Gigabit Ethernet switches, and the internal bandwidth is up to 2.56 Tb / sec.

In terms of heat dissipation, the Cisco N9K-C92160YC-XC switch is specifically designed to accommodate hot and cold aisle configurations in any data center. The rear-facing port installation method can be used to simplify the wiring of the server rack by placing the port closest to the server it supports. Of course, you can also use the front-facing port installation method to simplify the routing of network cables to the switch in front of the rack and upgrade the existing rack. Both deployment modes support front-to-back cooling by selecting the power supply and the fan tray designed in the reverse airflow direction, indicated by red and blue labels, respectively.
 
In terms of power, these two deployment modes are suitable for AC power. In addition, the DC power supply UCSC-PSU-930WDC (port side air intake) can be used for the deployment of –48 to –60V DC (900W). For high-voltage AC or DC environments, customers can also choose N9K-PUV-1200W to support 90 to 277VAC or -200 to -380V DC, as well as two-way airflow of a single power supply unit. Moreover, in order to improve availability, the platform supports 1 + 1 redundant hot-swappable 80Plus platinum-grade certified power supplies and hot-swappable 2 + 1 redundant fan trays.
